Hosted by music journalists and filmmakers Christopher Hooton and David Rapson, Coffee & Flowers is a long-form examination of the Grammy-winning band’s music, going one album per season, one track per episode.

Released on 4 March 2019, season one offers seven hours of audio insights into the making of The National's treasured breakthrough album, ‘Boxer’. It features interviews with band members Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner, along with collaborator Carin Besser, producer Peter Katis and author Jonathan Ames.

Upon release, the show went straight to No.1 in the Apple Podcasts music charts in 11 countries including the US, UK, Canada, Brazil and Italy. It has attracted over 300,000 listens, and been covered in GQ, Pitchfork, El Pais, NME, The A.V. Club and other outlets.
